On the secret oceanic research world of Damogran, a Hooloovoo served on the elite scientific team that went beyond the furthest limits of physical laws, restructured the fundamental fabric of matter, and strained, twisted, and broke the laws of possibility and impossibility to build the starship Heart of Gold.
During the ship's grand unveiling on the cliffs of the island of France, the Hooloovoo stood refracted inside its free-standing prism among the reception committee—sharing in the general thrill of meeting Zaphod Beeblebrox and his orange presidential sash moments before being frozen in place by Zaphod's Paralyso-Matic bomb.
